What a beautiful day, I hope you have the rest and activities to go with it…and how about some meat? Though the retail shop is closed to accommodate the jumble in valley life associated with Grange Fair we will be at Meyer Dairy today as we do, in fact, understand that life goes on outside the shire.
We actually have what I think might be the best variety of meat we’ve had, at least one might argue. OK, I need to go ahead and retract that and/or add a proviso. We are not bringing lamb or chicken today…the chicken delivery will not be in until after we are at Meyer (though to the one of you who ordered chicken, we’ll get it to you when it comes in and your bacon cheddar burgers are on) and we didn’t do a lamb this week.
That being said, the pork and beef selection is quite decent. In the pork we’ve got a number of chops, roasts, and rib selections. In the beef we’ve got steak and burgers and other miscellaneous selections. I should mention that due to the Grange jumble the selections are frozen. That was a stress management call, its really nice stuff, we just wanted one less thing to worry about and frozen is to easier to manage timing and inventory wise.
Well, I think I need to wrap up and giddy-up. I will try to put more time into describing to you some things that are coming down the pike in the not distant future that will both be good for RSMC as a company and have very beneficial spill over effects for the offerings we can provide you on a regular basis. I know that is one that that frustrates many of you, we have it one week and not the next and then it pops back up but you are on the Vineyard and then when you get back “Oh, so sorry, should have been here last week” and so on. We get it, we are striving to improve the regularity and variety of our offerings. More on all of this next time. We thank you for your loyalty and pray for your appetites.
